Beer in Berkshire is mostly going to be about beer. And Berkshire beer in particular. There might be asides, but the majority of the content I post will be about beer.

I’ll be posting every other week with recommendations, beer and beery things I have liked. There might be some trains and there might also be some football from time to time.

I make no apologies for promoting my own wonderful beer festival, Bracknell Ale & Cider Festival. You can find out more about that here.

Who am I and why should you listen to me?

I’m Tom Canning. I like beer. I particularly like the beer brewed in Berkshire. I am the co-founder of Bracknell Ale & Cider Festival, but that is about as far as my beer expertise goes.

I am not an expert or a critic and I won’t pretend to be. All I want to do with this newsletter is promote really good beer, pubs, people and events in Berkshire.

If you like the sound of that, welcome!
